Hannover have decided not to take up the option to sign on-loan striker Artjoms Rudnevs permanently.

The 26-year-old made the temporary switch to the HDI-Arena in January, after falling out of favour at parent club Hamburg.

However, the Latvia international has found the back of the net just three times in 14 Bundesliga appearances for Tayfun Korkut s charges.

Subsequently, Hannover have opted not to extend his stay.

Info on Artjoms Rudnevs: The club does not make use of the buyer s option until April 30, the club posted on their official Twitter account.

Lee Chung-Yong has thanked the Bolton fans on his return after more than 10 months out following a broken leg.

The 23-year-old South Korean midfielder, who won the club s Player of the Year award in 2010, was an 82nd-minute substitute in Sunday s 2-2 draw with West Brom.

The cameo was Lee s first appearance in the Premier League in almost 12 months and he appreciated the support of fans, having being given a hearty welcome upon his introduction.

The fans were amazing, Lee told the club s website.

They make me feel very happy when I play in the Reebok Stadium. I wish we could have won the game for them.

Lee also played for Bolton s reserves in a behind-closed-doors game on Friday before his first-team return.

The Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos outfit currently sit three places off the foot of the table, although they are level on points with Cordoba, Deportivo la Coruna and Elche beneath them.

Francisco appointed in June 2013 narrowly preserved Almeria s top-flight status last season, but has overseen a run of eight matches without a win in the Spanish top flight this this term, with their most recent victory coming at Deportivo in September.
